Authorities are looking for a white van and a male suspect who walked out of a local gun store with three semi-automatic pistols.   The suspect was captured on a video surveillance camera as he walked through the store checking out merchandise, and again later as he made his getaway in a van that was apparently parked outside waiting for him.   According to Osage Beach Police Chief Dave Severson, the theft occurred Sept. 28 about 3:55 p.m.   A white male identified in the photos entered a local gun shop and stole three firearms, a Beretta .25-caliber semi-automatic pistol, a Kel Tec .32-caliber semi-automatic pistol, and a Kel Tec 9 mm semi-automatic pistol.    The suspect apparently waited until the employees were waiting on other customers, busted a lock on a cabinet and grabbed the three guns.   “The suspect obviously entered the store intending to steal the guns, spent time looking around and when the employees were distracted, he made his move,” Severson said. “The subject left the store and was picked up by a second white male subject in the white full-size van.”   Severson said the department is asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect and the van. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is urged to contact the Osage Beach Police Department or other local law enforcement agencies.   Lake Sun Leader
