Stuart Edward Juhnke

 Stuart Edward Juhnke, 81, of Sanborn died on February 6, 2023, at Valley View Manor Care Center in Lamberton.
 Visitation will be on Monday, February 13, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. and will continue on Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Lamberton.
 Service will be held at United Methodist Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

 Stuart Edward Juhnke was born July 12, 1941, to Wilbert “Bill” and Lotus (Flaig) Juhnke. He grew up south of Sanborn and graduated from Sanborn High School in 1959. He enlisted in the Minnesota National Guard and served 6.5 years. He married Judy Purvis on February 18, 1962. They were blessed with four children. The couple later divorced. Stuart married Jan Weedman on July 3, 1985, at the United Methodist Church in Lamberton.
 Stuart farmed, was an insurance agent, and a volunteer driver for Western Community Action. Stuart was a member of the Sanborn Masonic Lodge for 62 years. He served as Secretary/Treasurer for several years.
 Stuart was very friendly and enjoyed visiting with people, playing Santa Claus for many years, but most of all loved fishing with his children and grandchildren. He loved to watch activities and sporting events when his grandchildren were involved.
 He is survived by his children – Kevin (Trudi) Juhnke of Lamberton, Craig (LeeAnn) Juhnke of Hutchinson, Kyle Juhnke of Lamberton, and Karen Juhnke (Doug Moody) of Lamberton; grandchildren – Tucker Juhnke, Carter and Kari Juhnke, Ashton and Ava Juhnke, and Austin and Mason Irlbeck; step-sisters – Sharon (Gene) Gollmer of Granite Falls and Marilyn (Danny) Dillabough of Osakis; sisters-in-law June Juhnke of Owatonna and Judy Weedman of Springfield; and special friend Eileen Jensen. Stuart was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert and Lotus Juhnke, step-mother Charlotte Juhnke, brother Mic Juhnke, wife Jan, brothers-in-law – Gary and Dennis (Marilyn) Weedman, mother-in-law – Noreen Weedman, and nephew Terry Dillabough.
