Are you an artist, potter, painter, sculptor, poet, writer, singer/song writer, dancer, iron worker or other creative person in southwest Minnesota?
If so, the Merryweather Arts Reveal may be for you.
The Merryweather Arts Reveal will be taking place at picturesque Merryweather Farm located at 14888 Bunker Ave. near Walnut Grove Aug. 18, 2019.
The event is designed to highlight artists and artisans from the surrounding area and to help foster a sense of community.
“We are putting this arts reveal together, because we want to showcase painters and weavers and metal workers and sculptors and poets and musicians and dancers and actors and lots of others that almost no one knows of – and allowing them a space to install or perform, and to talk about their work and inspiration, and share with and teach each other, and whoever else shows up,” said Sunny Ruthchild, one of the coordinators for the event and owner of Merryweather Farm.
Set up is Aug. 17, with the arts reveal and potluck dinner Sunday afternoon.
