Beginning in March 2019, Dr. Jennifer Flinn, psychologist, will join the comprehensive health care team in the ACMC-Redwood Falls clinic. She will also see patients one day a week in the ACMC-Willmar Skylark Clinic location.
Flinn graduated with her bachelors degree in psychology from the College of St. Benedict and went on to earn her masters and doctoral degrees in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas, Graduate School of Professional Psychology.
She has provided psychological services in a variety of settings, including a medical clinic and hospital with both inpatient and outpatient services, a college counseling center, a community based mental health center, a child guidance center, the International Diabetes Center and a private practice.
She has a passion for providing behavioral health care to patients with a variety of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment, relational concerns, personality disorders, life stressors, parenting concerns, exploration around gender and/or sexuality, interpersonally functioning, eating and body image concerns and identity formation.
Additionally, she has experience providing a range of psychological testing and evaluations for learning disorders (IQ and achievement), pre-bariatric surgery screenings and personality functioning.
Flinn grew up in Redwood Falls and is pleased to return to the area with her husband and children.
When Flinn is not caring for patients she enjoys cooking, backpacking, running, downhill skiing and spending time with her family at the lake.
