Serenity Suites celebrated with an open house July 15, and new residents began moving into their new units July 16.
Serenity Suites offers many features including: meals prepared by a chef, a screened porch, salon and spa and a garden.
Board members of Serenity Suites include Cathy Schwarz, Curt Trost, Paige Altermatt, Cindy McKittrick, Jim Salfer, Chuck Daub and Lawrence Kallevig.
The board members would like to acknowledge the City of Wabasso for its time, effort and $500,000 contribution to the project.
Also, the Wabasso Lions donated $2,500 to the Memory Garden for residents and visitors to enjoy.
A special thank you is extended to Jim Salfer for all his time and dedication that began on the project 15 years ago.
Also, a thank you is extended to Kyle Nodine for his assistance with the facility’s interior design and to Patrick Rafferty for his knowledge with operations.
The team at Serenity Suites looks forward to providing a home for those needing assistance, allowing residents to remain in their community, close to family, friends, neighbors and church.
