1 – The New Ulm Diocese Council of Catholic Women is hosting its 59th annual convention Saturday, April 28 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. The convention is set to start at 7:30 a.m., with keynote addresses at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

2 – The Wood Lake Battlefield Preservation Association is hosting its annual meeting Saturday, April 28 at 1 p.m. at the Pizza Ranch in Redwood Falls. The public is welcome.

3 – The Redwood Valley High School prom grand march is being held Saturday, April 28 starting at 8 p.m. at the school. Donations for future proms will be accepted. All are invited.

4 – The public is invited to come to a concert sponsored by the Belview Word of Life LCMC Church presented by the Sahlstrom Singing Family from Tracy at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 29 at the Odeon Hall in Belview. Church members will serve a light lunch following the concert including BBQs, chips, bars and beverages.

5 – A Safe and Sound community meeting is scheduled for Sunday, April 29 from 5-7 p.m. at Cornerstone Church in Redwood Falls. The meeting will offer presentations and a question and answer session regarding the issues of community safety. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

6 – The Redwood Area Education Foundation is hosting the annual Evening of the Stars event Wednesday, May 2. Dinner is scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m., with the program starting at 7 p.m. For more information or to get tickets, contact Tami Riley at (507) 644-3531.
