1 – The Redwood County Big Buddies Toss-a-Thon fundraiser is being held Friday, April 6 starting at 4:30 p.m. at the National Guard Armory in Redwood Falls. To learn more contact Mark Trefry at (507) 530-1202.

2 – Hayley King, a trainer, speaker and consultant on topics related to commercial sexual exploitation is set to speak at a community meeting Friday, April 6 in Wabasso. The presentation is being held in the Wabasso Public School auditorium starting at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

3 – The Red Cross Bloodmobile is scheduled to be in Redwood Falls April 9-10 at the Evangelical Free Church from 12:30-6:30 p.m.

4 – An open house is being held Monday, April 9 from 5-7 p.m. to help kick off the exhibit of John Buckley's art at the Redwood Falls Public Library. The event, which was originally set to be held April 3, was rescheduled due to the weather. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

 5 – Kent Nerburn, author of “Neither Wolf Nor Dog,” is scheduled to speak Tuesday, April 10 at 6 p.m. at the Lower Sioux community recreation center. The presentation includes an author talk, movie presentation and time for questions and answers. Refreshments are also being provided.

6 – Jim Gill's Nationwide Campaign for Play is making a stop in Redwood Falls Wednesday, April 11 in the cafeteria at Reede Gray Elementary School in Redwood Falls.The event is being held to kick off the Week of the Young Child. A free meal is being served at 5 p.m., with the concert starting at 6 p.m.
