Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall will be the site of a Domestic Violence Action Day event March 28 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in Bellows Academic 102/202 on campus.

The event is entitled “We Believe: Minnesotans Rally Against Domestic Violence.”

The SMSU event is one of seven concurrent rallies being held around the state.

The program will include a number of local speakers as well as a reading of the “Minnesota Femicide” report.

The public is invited to attend this free event.

The rally is sponsored by Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women, Women’s Rural Advocacy Program, the SMSU women’s studies committee and SMSU feminist club.
