We are happy to announce the addition of a K9 to the Redwood County Sheriff's Office. Pictured is a dual purpose German Sheppard donated to our office by McDonough K9. After selecting Deputy Anderson as his handler, we let the elementary schools within Redwood County name the K9. The kids were given four options: Echo, Egon, Red and Rip. The kids have spoken and the name is... ECHO! We'd like to thank the schools for participating in the vote! We'd also like to thank McDonough K9, AKC Reunite and AgCountry Farm Credit Services for their financial support with this program.
