The 46th annual Lower Sioux Wacipi was held June 14-16 and was well attended despite rainy conditions on Saturday. The event is a beautiful celebration of culture, life and heritage. It’s also a time to remember and honor relatives and commemorate special occasions. Wacipi means “they dance” and dancing is at the center of the vent.
