Jean E. (Swigart) Jenson, 91, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Woodstone Senior Living, Hutchinson.
 Jean was born on August 25, 1931, in Redwood Falls to Mac and Edna (Balko) Swigart. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School. On August 20, 1950, she was united in marriage to Clark 0. Jenson.
 Until they retired, Jean and Clark lived and worked on their farm outside of Blackduck.
 Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Mac and Edna Swigart, her brothers, Russell and Bill Swigart, and her husband, Clark Jenson.
 Jean is survived by her sister, Judith Beardsley, her six daughters, Connie Loberg (Larry), Caren Thornton (Dann), Cathy Hufnagle (Steve), Carney Jenson (Ralph), Cheri Jenson, Carol Jourdan (Cameron), and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
 Jean had a deep faith that she maintained with daily devotional readings, Bible study and prayer. She spent her life caring for others including several years of adult foster care. Jean is remembered fondly and with love by multiple family members and friends for the caring help she provided during difficult times. Jean had a love of cooking and baking. Many family members remember times of celebration with Jean in the kitchen, serving and feeding everyone. Jean also loved flowers and gardening.
 A Celebration of Life, graveside service, is planned for July 10, 2023, 9:30 a.m., Pony Lake Cemetery, Bemidji with a gathering for family and friends at The Chophouse following the service.
