Wabasso Teacher, John Haberman, was selected for the Minnesota VFW 3rd District Citizenship Education Teacher Award. Haberman was recommended by Redwood County VFW Post 2553. Veterans are invited to his classes for sharing of their life experiences relating to the topics being taught. He uses active role play and cartography to enhance curriculum in the classroom.
