Elaine F. Just, 96, of Redwood Falls passed away on February 6, 2023, at River Valley nursing home in Redwood Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023, from St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls with burial following in Peace Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and will continue on Friday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the church.
 Elaine Florence Just, the daughter of Otto and Clara (Ott) Raddatz, was born August 23, 1926, in Redwood Falls Township, Redwood County. She was baptized September 26, 1926, confirmed April 6, 1941, by Pastor Edward Birkholz of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, who also performed the wedding ceremony for Melvin Just and Elaine Raddatz on September 15, 1950, who were blessed with 61 years together.
 Elaine attended country school district #63, worked part time at JCPenney Store and the County Auditor-Treasurers Office in Redwood Falls, taught Sunday School, worked on the finance committee and mailing newsletter for St. John Church. Elaine did many volunteer jobs in the community and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
 She loved being with her children; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
 Elaine is survived by her sons, Roger (Lois) Just of Park Rapids and Dewan Just of Fort Collins, Colo.; daughter, Rita (Alan) Wieneke of Redwood Falls.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin in 2011; brother, Orville (Myrtle) and sister, Elviera Raddatz.
