The Wabasso Economic Development Authority (EDA) is at the heart of fostering growth and sustainability in the community. Its commitment to enhancing the town goes beyond just economic development; it emphasizes community engagement and pride. One notable initiative involved partnering with local schools to create beautiful planters for local businesses, allowing students in shop class to contribute to the beautification of downtown Wabasso. This project not only adds to the town’s charm but also encourages a sense of ownership and pride among residents, fostering a connection between the students and the community.
Wabasso National Honors Society and Student Council students enjoyed a community-building activity with the elementary in celebration of a successful Pennies for Pink fundraiser.
Join us for a showcase of a variety of talents from students and community members of all ages at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Wabasso Public School Auditorium.
