Vernon Albers, 96, of Marshall and formerly of Redwood Falls died on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Heritage Pointe Senior Living Center in Marshall. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2022, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marshall. Following a reception, interment will be in the St. Matthew’s Cemetery, south of Wabasso. Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall. The evening will conclude with a Prayer Service and Memory Share at 7 p.m. Visitation will then continue one hour prior to the service, from 10 - 11 a.m. on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John Lutheran School in Redwood Falls (www.sjschool.org) or Samuel Lutheran School in Marshall (www. christlutheran-marshallmn.org and click on school).
