The Redwood Valley boys basketball team split a pair of recent matchups, topping ACGC in nonconference play and falling to rival JCC on the road in a Big South West Conference matchup. On Monday, Jan.

The Wabasso wrestling team was in action recently, falling to Montevideo UNITED, JCC and Fulda-MCC. In a loss to Monte UNITED, the Rabbits picked up a fall from Kaysen Harms at 106; Chance Fischer added a third period fall at 138.

The Redwood Valley wrestlers were in recent action, falling to Marshall 63-18 on Tuesday, Jan. 18, and splitting a pair of duals on Thursday, Jan.

The Redwood Valley wrestling team went 1-2 at the Jan. 13 Redwood Valley Quadrangular, topping Quad County and falling to state-ranked Fairmont-MCW and Worthington.

Despite peppering Fairmont with 70 shots on goal, the Redwood Valley hockey team fell 6-5 in a Big South Conference matchup at home Saturday, Jan. 8. The Cardinals (2-12, 1-10) outshot Fairmont 2-to-1 on the night, but four unanswered goals by Fairmont proved to be the difference.

The Redwood Valley girls basketball team lost a tough 61-55 battle with Springfield on Thursday, Jan. 6, in nonconference action.
