Rabbit netters top Mustangs

Wabasso imroved to 5-2 overall in Tomahawk Conference play with a 3-1 win over BL/Hector-Stewart in a battle held Thursday in Buffalo Lake. The Rabbits (14-7) split the first two sets with the Mustangs, winning 25-19 and falling 25-12. They would close out the match however with two straight set wins, 25-13, 25-20, to close out the match.

Huskies roll to win over depleted Cards

Racing out to a 21-0 halftime lead the stateranked JCC Huskies rolled to a 35-0 win over the visiting Redwood Valley Cardinals Saturday afternoon in Jackson. The Cardinals were without starting quarterback Cam Enright who was nursing a thigh injury and the Huskie (5-0) were able to dominate in the trenches racking up 300 rushing yards (420 total yards).

Arrows rally in second half to top Cardinals

Pulling away in the second half the Pipestone Area Arrows rallied from a first half deficit to top Redwood Valley 35-7 Friday night in a Big South Conference match-up held at Inglis Field. The Cardinals (0-4) hung tough in the first half, taking a 7-6 lead into the break but the Arrows would take advantage of a turnover on the opening series of the second half - a fumble deep in Cardinal territory - and never looked back to improve to 4-0 on the season.
