Rallying in overtime the Cedar Mountain boys basketball team edged rival Springfield 81-77 in a recent Tomahawk Conference thriller. The Cougars outscored the Tigers 13-9 in overtime to earn the nice conference win.

The Redwood Valley boys basketball team dropped a pair of recent match-ups falling by 30 on the road at Windom Area and losing a close battle with NL/Spicer at home. The Cards (7-8) travelled to Windom Area for a Big South Conference match-up with the Eagles and gave up 64 first half points en route to a 118-88 loss.
Despite not having their best night the Redwood Valley gymnastics team edged visiting Pipestone Area 125.475-125.425 in a Big South dual meet thriller held at the RACC. “I told the girls that in all my years of coaching there’s always going to be a meet that you’re going to struggle in and this was the meet,” Asst.

The Redwood Valley girls basketball team picked up its third win of the season with a 62-53 win over Cedar Mountain in non-conference action held Monday night. Kendall Huhnerkoch picked up her second straight 20-point effort as she finished with 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting to go along with seven rebounds and two steals.
The Redwood Valley wrestling team went 1-1 at a home triangular Thursday night with a win over RRC and a loss to Adrian. The Cardinals topped RRC 42-33 in a match that went right down to the wire.
Dominating on bars, beam and floor the Redwood Valley gymnasts rolled to a 128.55-120.35 win over Windom Area Thursday night in a Big South Conference dual. Cardinal junior Avery Wilson captured the All-Around with her score of 34.225.
Racing out to a 29-15 halftime lead the Wabasso Rabbits cruised to a 54-36 win over RRC in a recent non-conference girls basketball match-up. The Rabbits (4-6) were led by the duo of Kelsey Frank and Avery Carlson who combined for 39 of the Rabbits 54 points.
