The glass is more than half fullIn recent area newspapers I read a letter spouting more of the former President’s monotonous recitations, including about out-of-control inflation.In my lifetime, the average annual inflation rate has been a negative number only twice – in 1955 and 2009.

To the editor:I believe the Democrats are not only defending State Senator Nicole Mitchell arrested for the criminal act of burglary but are disregarding that criminal act by allowing her to continue to maintain her seat in the senate in order to keep their one seat majority (34 D’s - 33 R’s).

To the editor:The May 16 opinion ‘Strengthening our Freedoms’ stated: “There’s something to be said for Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” But then said: “Let’s fight to keep information free to everyone who enters a library and keep books in the hands of anyone who wants to read them.”I think before we get too carried away with unrestricted freedoms, we should take time to go to the MassResistance.org website and observe the May 13, 2024 pages.
