REDWOOD FALLS - Joanne D. Luttman age 78 of Redwood Falls, formerly of Lamberton, passed away while surrounded by her family on Monday, January 24, 2022 at River Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center after a six year battle with Lewy body dementia. Joanne was under the loving care of Carris Health Redwood Hospice. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Redwood Valley Funeral Home, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Interment is in the Redwood Falls Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

REDWOOD FALLS - Alan L. Palmer, age 76 of Redwood Falls formerly of rural Wabasso, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 at New Ulm Medical Center surrounded by family. John Marshall Otto passed from this life on January 17, 2022. John was born in Mankato, MN on, April 23, 1942. He graduated from Hopkins High School in 1960 and was married to Judy Kooy in December of 1961. He was a long-time resident of Redwood Falls, MN and worked at Scott Preusse for 20+ years before moving to Mesa, Arizona.

Joan M. Brown, 91, of Morton said goodbye to family and friends on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Cannon River Senior Living Memory Care Unit in Cannon Falls. The family wants to thank the employees of the Memory Care Unit at Cannon River for keeping mother active and engaged and for their compassionate care these last few years as her Alzheimer’s progressed. We’d also like to thank the wonderful people of Morton who committed so many random acts of kindness helping our mother when she lived alone.

REDWOOD FALLS - Kevin“Kev” Malecek, 51, of Redwood Falls, died after a battle with Covid on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at St. Cloud Hospital. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 27th, 2022 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Steven Jeffrey Dahmes, child of God, went home to our Lord on January 14, 2022 in the afternoon surrounded by his wife and children. Steve was born October 18, 1960 to Roland and Virginia (Finfrock) Dahmes. Steve was very active in sports and music in high school where he met his wife Geri in 1977. They were married on June 5, 1981 in Redwood Falls. They had 3 beautiful children, Tony (Sarah) Dahmes, Benjamin (Nicole) Dahmes and Cassandra (Nick) Olson. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren, Sammantha Dahmes 18, Hayley, 17, Lucas 7, Grace 3, Jackson Dahmes 6, Adalynn 1, Elaine Olson, 10, Zoey 6, Emma 3.
