Darvin left to become a commercial pilot in the early 1960s, and when Elmer passed away in 1964, Donald managed the farm until his own passing in 1980. In 1981, the next generation, Rick and Mike, took over the operation. Rick and Kim were married in 1982, and Mike and Mary were married in 1984. Mike’s son, Alex, joined the team in 2013, continuing the family tradition.
