The Monday, Jan. 24, meeting of the Wabasso School Board began with a special Organizational meeting agenda. Items approved included election of officers: Chairperson Dave Els, Vice Chair Barb Hoffman, Clerk Tom Carlson and Treasurer Jeff Turbes.
The One Act Play Subsection 9 Contest takes place Saturday, Jan. 29, at the Estebo Performing Arts Center in Redwood Falls. The participating schools included Lakeview, Redwood Valley High School, TMB, Wabasso and WWG. Wabasso performed “So ... What Are We Doing Tonight?” By Ian McWethy. Central Lakes College, Brainerd and Staples, announced its 2021 fall semester honors lists. Haddyn Hoffenkamp of Wabasso was named to the President’s List for earning a GPA of 3.75 to 4.0.
