The National Weather Service is looking for additional volunteers to record and share measurements of precipitation in and around Redwood County. (PIC) has been awarded $41,097 by the Otto Bremer Trust and $25,000 from the Southwest Initiative Foundation to provide a sequential, purposeful continuum of Career Exposure, Career Exploration and Career Experience activities for students in southwest Minnesota. March 1 through 6, 34 students from the area with 36 entries participated in the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival at St. John School in Redwood Falls. Each participant performed two memorized pieces before a judge who scored his/her performance. The points received are accumulated to earn gold cups.
