Open house for Highway 19 project is April 21

The public is invited to an in-person construction open house on Thursday, April 21 to learn about the upcoming Highway 19 bridge repair project in Redwood Falls. The open house will be held at the Redwood Falls City Hall, 333 South Washington Street, and run from 4 to 5:30 p.m. There will not be a formal presentation and people are invited to stop by anytime during open house hours.

LSIC Member leads the Minnesota Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives Office

Native Americans make up a significant portion of missing and murdered cases in the U.S. and Canada. On Feb. 28, member of the Lower Sioux Indian Community, Juliet Rudie, took the lead as Minnesota's first Director of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR) Office, housed within the Department of Public Safety Office of Justice Programs (DPS – OJP).

Guns and Diamonds Bingo

The Wabasso Area Baseball Association is hosting a Guns and Diamonds Bingo event on Saturday, April 9 at the Wabasso Community Center. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with food available from Roadhouse Bar and Grill. Bingo will begin at 7 p.m. with chances to win guns, diamonds or cash.
