A beautiful blue

A beautiful blue heron takes to flight just east of North Redwood; A rooster struts its stuff west of Redwood Falls in a marshy, slough area; a male Northern Shoveler takes off after being spotted west of Redwood Falls; a mature doe is surrounded by beautiful scenery near a grove north of Redwood Falls; late spring and early summer are a great time to get out and explore the area and get a glimpse of all the beautiful wildlife and nature that we have around us. With the spring and early summer

With the spring and early summer it's a time of renewal and rebirth. You can definitely spot young wildlife of all sorts around the area. I recently stumbled upon these masked bandits around sunset west of Redwood Falls. There were five young ones with mom. These three took a liking to me and posed perfectly for a shot. Ben Stoterau
