Three RVHS FFA members stepped out of their comfort zone Friday, March 4 and participated in the Region V Agricultural Mechanics contest. The team placed ninth overall and Jacob Zollner placed ninth individually.

Redwood Area Chamber and Tourism Ambassadors present Redwood Chiropractic PSC with a Progress Award. Redwood Chiropractic works on a holistic approach to treating musculoskeletal problems and other issues in both people and pets. The business also was recognized and congratulated on its new location. Wabasso High School Theatre presents “The Snow Queen” by Ron Nicol next weekend. Showtimes start at 7 p.m. March 11 and 12 with the final performance at 1 p.m. March 13. Dinner theater tickets are still available for March 11 and 12 and can be reserved by calling 507- 430-8950. General admission tickets will be sold at the door 30 minutes before showtime. The performances will be held at the Wabasso High School auditorium.

This past Sunday morning I was praying “No one pours new wine into old wineskins ... rather, new wine is poured into fresh wineskins” from Mark 2:22. It was the antiphon (bible verse) that was prayed as part of The Liturgy of the Hours (daily prayers/scriptures of the Church). As I was reflecting on this verse, I realized that this verse was fitting as we are about to begin the holy season of Lent.
