A collection of Jamie Steffl’s Redwood Valley High School advanced visual art students will have their artwork displayed at Redwood Area Arts in downtown Redwood Falls for the month of April. There will be an artist reception and awards presented from 4–6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10.

Cedar Mountain High School will be hosting the MSHSL Visual Arts Competition for Subsection 2A South on Wednesday, April 2. Artists from Cedar Mountain, Blue Earth Area, Waseca, Waterville- Elysian-Morristown, United South Central, Comfrey, Mountain Lake, Lake Crystal, NRHEG, Maple River, and St. Clair will be participating in this at show. The students will participate in various art activities throughout the day. Activities are provided through a generous grant from the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council. Visiting artists from the Lower Sioux and Ortonville will be providing workshops for the student artists.
