Starry Night at RVHS Prom 2023

Redwood Valley High School hosted their 2023 Prom Saturday, April 26 with “Starry Night” as this year’s theme. Following the Grand March that took place in the Redwood Valley Gymnasium, 140 students bussed over to Inspire Wedding and Events in New Ulm for dinner, dancing, and hypnotism by Gary Tyson.

2nd Annual Cardinal Careers Expo – an Interactive Event Connecting Cardinals with Industries in Redwood Area

Redwood Area Chamber and Tourism and Redwood Area Schools is excited to announce the Cardinal Careers Expo will be held again this year on May 17, 2023, at Redwood Valley High School. This completely interactive experience will connect high school students with Redwood Area business and industries.

Redwood County Sheriff’s Office and Wabasso American Legion Auxiliary sponsor Children’s Identification Program

Sheriff Jason Jacobson of Redwood County and his officers ran a part of the Children’s Identification program by fingerprinting the kindergarteners, and first graders in both Wabasso Elementary School and St. Anne’s Elementary School. The deputies were assisted with this program by ladies from the Victor Hirsch American Legion Auxiliary post of Wabasso: LaVonne Mathiowetz, Virginia Salfer and Joyce Plaetz. The fingerprinting forms were sent home to the parents to keep in their possession in case they would be needed for an emergency. Neither the school nor the county get a copy of the prints.
