The Redwood Valley gymnastics team continued to perform well with a 123.8-116.25 win over Marshall in recent Big South Conference dual meet action. The Cardinals captured all four events including dominating wins on bars and floor.

WRAP receives donation of 10,000 pairs of Bombas Socks

WoMen’s Rural Advocacy Programs, Inc. (WRAP) is excited to announce that we have received 10,000 pairs of Bombas socks. WRAP is very grateful to have received this donation from Bombas. With this donation, we will be able to not only provide our clients with socks but others in the community that are in need as well. WRAP will be dispersing some of these socks to various community organizations such as food shelves, other domestic abuse and sexual assault advocacy centers, homeless shelters, and rehabilitation centers within our area.

Redwood Area School District receives state grant to support Native students with disabilities

Redwood Area School District was awarded a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education to better support American Indian students with disabilities toward graduation as well as education and employment after high school. The grant is called the State Personnel Development Grant and schools compete for the grant by describing the need to improve graduation rates of Native students with disabilities along with an initial plan to respond to those needs with programs at school.
