Stanley Erwin Kuehn, 76, of rural Sanborn passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown, S.D. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Willow Lake Township. Visitation was held 4 -7 p.m. Wednesday, April 19 at Redwood Valley Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Thursday. MMIR March on Friday, May 5

Dakota Wicohan will be hosting a Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR) March in Redwood Falls on Friday, May 5 to bring awareness to the community. The march will begin at the Redwood Falls Muni Airport– RWF at 4 p.m.

Minnwest Bank has announced Kory Grey as its new Market President in Redwood Falls. Grey brings his prior experience and relationships at Minnwest Bank into this new role, having previously served as Relationship Manager in Redwood Falls since 2019. Prior to Minnwest, Kory spent three years at Wells Federal/CCF Bank in his hometown of St. James.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wabasso Senior Dining is only offering home delivery of meals, until further notice. Home delivery is available to those residing in Wabasso, Wanda, Lucan, Seaforth, Vesta, Delhi, Lamberton, Redwood Falls, Clements, Morton, Fairfax, Franklin, Gibbon, and Winthrop. To order a meal, or for more information, call Diane at 507-829-2385. You are asked to call one day prior by noon to order a meal. The cost is $4 a meal for those ages 60 and over; $2 on Thursdays for Wabasso residents. Menus are subject to change.

Rabbits off to unbeaten start

The Wabasso girls softball team opened up the regular with a pair of victories over MVL and MCC. The Rabbits (2-0) opened up against Tomahawk Conference foe MVL and would roll to a 14-1 (five inning) victory over the Chargers.
