Pastor Dan Vesta of the Evangelical Free Church of Redwood Falls will be presenting a concert of original music on Sunday evening, May 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the church (1370 East Bridge Street). The concert will be a program featuring songs created from Bible stories. Following the concert, there will be a time of fellowship and light refreshments.

The Redwood County CSAH 17 “Goldmine” Bridge over the Minnesota River will be permanently closed to traffic. This is due to cracked lower steel chords. Additionally floor stringers are in very poor condition. The bridge could collapse at any moment.

Redwood Valley High School held a band concert on Tuesday, May 9 and had three components. First, the high school jazz band played three pieces that they received a superior rating for on Saturday, May 6 at Mountain Lake High School at the MSHSL Solo/Ensemble Regional Music Contest.
The Redwood Valley boys and girls track teams will head into the Sub-Section Meet on a high note after strong performances at the Big South Conference Meet held Monday in Blue Earth. Luverne would capture both the girls and boys titles followed by JCC and Redwood Valley.
