Woodford leads Jimmies into NAIA Tourney

Former Redwood Valley standout Cole Woodford will lead the University of Jamestown Men’s Basketball team into NAIA Tournament action Friday night in Helena, MT. The redshirt sophomore helped lead the sixth seeded Jimmies (24-9) to a memorable postseason run a season ago and will look to do the same this season beginning with a match-up against 11th seeded Lewis Clark State College (22-10).

Redwood girls have solid year

It was a positive campaign for the Redwood 12U Girls Hockey team in 2021-22. The local girls team is made up of players ranging in age from 9-14 and was coached by the trio of Brett Welsh, Stephen Vannelli and Brandon Malvin.

FFA members participate in Regions

Three RVHS FFA members stepped out of their comfort zone Friday, March 4 and participated in the Region V Agricultural Mechanics contest. The team placed ninth overall and Jacob Zollner placed ninth individually.

Recognizing International Women’s Day
