Cardinal netters dominate Wolverines

The Redwood Valley tennis team improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 6-1 win over MACCRAY Thursday, April 7 in non-conference action. The Cardinals again dominated in singles competition as all four players won in straight sets.

Native Americans make up a significant portion of missing and murdered cases in the U.S. and Canada. On Feb. 28, member of the Lower Sioux Indian Community, Juliet Rudie, took the lead as Minnesota's first Director of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR) Office, housed within the Department of Public Safety Office of Justice Programs (DPS – OJP).

Lundeen named Scholar Athlete

Redwood Valley High School’s Drew Lundeen was recently named a Scholar-Athlete by the Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation. This annual award honors Minnesota high school football players for their outstanding athletic, academic and community service accomplishments.

A night of gratitude

I had a delightful time celebrating Redwood Area Chamber and Tourism's 25th Annual Chamber Gala with the CherryRoad Media team over the weekend. I joined the Gazette right at a time when the paper was transitioning ownership over to CherryRoad Media. The Gala was the perfect opportunity to get to know CEO, Jeremy Gulban, and six other team members.

To the Editor: How much more damage will President Biden How much more damage will President Biden do for his climate change and open border policies? After one year, President Biden being weak and wrong on almost every foreign policy decisions has lead Russia into Ukraine. Now his weak stance with NATO countries is keeping them at war.
