I mustache you a question

I always thought of the world as kind of divided into two camps: Us and Them. And I was always on Team Us. Because I’m Us, not Them. I’ve never been Them. I had friends who were Them. Well, okay. It was just one friend, Matt, who was Team Them but still. Anyway… then something dramatic happened. It was big. I won’t get into the details, but I’ll just say I was out of circulation for a couple of weeks, and I made a leap from Team Us to Team Them.

It’s about being united together as Christ’s body

Many people regard summer as vacation time, time spent with family and friends, time at the lake, at the cabin, time away. I, myself, have the sense that June brings with it something new, some different way of life. I look forward to long evenings reading on the deck. I love to be out puttering around with my plants in the light that doesn’t end until 10 p.m. I relish the lessening of the pace a bit in my work, and in our household schedules.

Cards put together memorable season

It turned out to be one of the most complete seasons in school history for the Redwood Valley baseball team during the 2022 campaign. The Cardinals went 15-5 during the regular season (most wins ever for a Cardinal team during the regular season) and tied the 1997 squad for total victories with 17 as they finished 17-7 overall and 8-4 in Big South Conference play (good for second).

LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the Editor: Setting aside the debate on the legitimacy of the 2020 election, the result is the reality we are now living in. The pain of high energy prices, food prices, inflation, supply chain crisis, high crime rates, falling stock market that is destroying future retirement funds for people and on and on.
