Celebrate Redwood Falls put together several successful Summer Splash events over the weekend of June 24-26. Celebrate Redwood Falls is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating and promoting events in Redwood Falls that celebrate the city's history and showcase the amenities available within the community.

Redwood Valley, Wabasso Trap Shooting teams find success

It was a successful spring for a pair of local trap shooting teams as the Redwood Valley and Wabasso High School squads both fared well at the annual MNHSCTL Championships. The Redwood Valley novice team of Maxwell Bentson, Lane Breitkreutz, Dalton DeBlieck, Ava Dillon, Max Dillon, Adriel Johnson, Adam Mohr and Hunter Rebstock placed first as a team.

Monica Marie (Filzen) Glazier, 69, of Redwood Falls passed away at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud on June 19, 2022. Christian Burial was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Cornerstone Christian Church in Redwood Falls. Burial will be at a later date at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Redwood Falls.

I always thought of the world as kind of divided into two camps: Us and Them. And I was always on Team Us. Because I’m Us, not Them. I’ve never been Them. I had friends who were Them. Well, okay. It was just one friend, Matt, who was Team Them but still. Anyway… then something dramatic happened. It was big. I won’t get into the details, but I’ll just say I was out of circulation for a couple of weeks, and I made a leap from Team Us to Team Them.
