Bulls news from Aug. 2.
The Bulls will begin the 2007-08 NBA regular season where they finished the 2006-07 regular season.
On Oct. 31, the Bulls will tip off their 42nd campaign, against the New Jersey Nets at Continental Airlines Arena. The Bulls played their final game of the 2006-07 regular season at New Jersey, falling 106-97. That loss cost the Bulls the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs as they fell to the fifth spot.
The Bulls will open their home slate Nov. 2 against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Reigning Eastern Conference champ Cleveland is scheduled to visit the United Center on March 6 and April 11. the Boston Celtics, who recently acquired Kevin Garnett from Minnesota, are scheduled to come to town Dec. 8 and April 1. The NBA champion San Antonio Spurs will make their lone appearance here March 20.
For the season, the Bulls are scheduled to appear on national television 30 times: twice on ABC, nine times on TNT, nine times on ESPN, nine times on NBA-TV and once on ESPN2.

Curry On Board
The Bulls announced the signing of second-round draft pick JamesOn Curry. Terms were not disclosed.
Curry (6-foot-3, 190 pounds) was the No. 51 overall pick in the June draft. He started 83 of 101 contests at Oklahoma State and posted career per-game averages of 13.5 points and 3.5 assists.
