Deputy Taft Anderson and his K9 Partner Echo were awarded the MSCIC Law Enforcement Meritorious Service Award. This award is presented to a law enforcement officer that has provided extraordinary service in one or more instances to a law enforcement agency or agencies. Deputy Anderson was nominated as the result of his efforts assisting the Redwood Falls Police Department during an active threat in the summer of 2024.
