On Sept. 10, Dean Fischer of the Wabasso Lions Club was presented the Melvin Jones Fellow Award, which recognizes individuals for their dedicated humanitarian service. Named after the founder of Lions Clubs International, this prestigious award honors those who exemplify the values of the organization through their commitment to community service and leadership.
