Redwood Falls Rotary presents check to City of Redwood Falls

In partnership with Redwood Falls city employees, local Rotarians recently completed at $14,557 project to assist with the site preparation for the planned addition to the Redwood Falls Public Library. The work completed included removing seven trees, funding replacement fencing, concrete, and forms for the relocated Backyard Barnyard literacy playground, and purchasing some of the concrete needed to replace sidewalks and landscaping. The final purchase was a Peace Pole to be installed at a later date.

Hunt for Hope: Where Faith, the Outdoors, and Healing Intersect

The Redwood Area Communities Foundation is proud to welcome the Hunt for Hope Fund, a new initiative with a mission rooted in both faith and a deep love for the outdoors. Founded by Gavin Maurer, Elliott Herdina, Paul Berndt, and Cameron Maurer, this fund is driven by a passion for creating transformative outdoor experiences for children with life-changing circumstances, experiences they may never otherwise get the chance to enjoy.

Nelson participates in 25th annual National 4-H Shooting Sports Championships

Joryden Nelson, a member of the Redwood/Renville 4-H shooting sports club is participated in the 25th annual National 4-H Shooting Sports Championships. Nelson competed in the small bore pistol competition ending with a row score of 523. She is a member of the Minnesota 4-H .22 Pistol team. She was joined by teammate Adrianna Halverson of Wright County. There was three days of competition in slow fire, Hunter Silhouette and rapid/timed fire. The event ended with awards on June 27 at the Heartland Center in Grand Island, Nebraska.
