Hanson records first ever hole-in-one

Longtime Redwood Falls resident and Redwood Falls Golf Club member Denny Hanson recorded his first ever hole-in-one this past October.Hanson would use a seven iron to ace the par-3 fourth hole at the Redwood Falls Golf Club.He joined four others who scored aces at the RFGC including: Bob Mackedanz with a four iron the par-3 11th; Adam Foslien with a nine-iron on the par-3 13th; Bill Jensen with a gap wedge on the par-3 13th and Eric Anderson with a 52 degree wedge on the par-3 13th.The Redwood Falls Golf Club - which already had days open for play in March - will look to be open for good sometime in April.

Redwood Falls City Council approves Redwood Falls Public Library plan to relocate Outdoor Literacy Area

Redwood Falls City Council met Tuesday, March 19 and approved the temporary street closure request for Discover Downtown Redwood Falls to hold an event on Saturday, May 4 from 3-8 p.m.This is to encourage visitors who are in town for Nightfalls to enjoy downtown businesses, bean bag tournament, music and more.
