Hollar earns Player of the Year honors

Cedar Mountain senior outside hitter Hailey Hollar capped off a great volleyball career for the Cougars by being named the 2023 Player of the Year in the Tomahawk Conference.Hollar was a unanimous selection and three-time All-Conference selection during her career for the Cougars who finished 20-10 and second in the conference with a mark of 6-2 this past season.She was tied for third with 103 kills and added 118 digs, 14 set assists and 12 ace serves.Freshman teammate Aubrey Steffl was also a first-team selection for the Cougars while freshman setter Kendra Erickson was an honorable mention selection.Steffl had 64 kills and 127 digs while Erickson was sixth in the conference with 208 set assists and 15 blocks.
