Cardinals thump Madelia

The Redwood Valley baseball team rolled to a 15-5 win over Madelia in recent non-conference road action. Riley Dikken went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs and Brandon Lang was 3-for-4 with a walk and five RBIs as the Cards cruised to an easy victory.

Cardinal girls continue to dominate

It was a dominating performance by the Redwood Valley girls golf team Saturday at the Rose Lake Golf Club in Fairmont as the Cardinals rolled to a 21-stroke victory in the 10team event. The Cardinals finished with a 338 total to easily outdistance second place Fairmont (359) and third place Worthington (366).

National Police and EMS Week

The month of May includes National Police Week and National EMS Week. WRAP (WoMen’s Rural Advocacy Programs, Inc.) would like to recognize and thank all Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical Service Responders! The jobs of those in law enforcement and EMS are never easy and can be extremely dangerous. The roles of both law enforcement and EMS can be scary and unsafe, especially when responding to a domestic violence call.

To the editor: Recent reports tell us the EPA is planning to force us to buy electric cars by implementing strict new federal emissions standards so that by 2032, two-thirds of all new car sales will be electric. The motive for this is “Climate change”.
