On Tuesday, May 9, the Minnesota Senate approved the Omnibus Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy bill. This legislation received strong bipartisan support in the Senate and recognizes the contributions of current military members and veterans across the state of Minnesota.

Pastor Dan Vesta of the Evangelical Free Church of Redwood Falls will be presenting a concert of original music on Sunday evening, May 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the church (1370 East Bridge Street). The concert will be a program featuring songs created from Bible stories. Following the concert, there will be a time of fellowship and light refreshments.

The Redwood Valley Speech Team concluded their season with five students competing in the Section 3A Speech Tournament on Saturday, April 15 in Redwood Falls. Team members participating in this competition included senior Sofia Panitzke, freshman LiliAnna Carter, freshman Lillian Toland, 8th grader Madilynn Luckhardt, and 7th grader Matthew Kaden.
