Cards drop a pair of Big South battles

A late 6-2 lead collapsed for the Redwood Valley baseball team as they fell 10-7 to visiting Windom Area in recent Big South action. The Cardinals looked to be in control up 6-2 with two innings to go but the Eagles would plate five runs in the sixth and tacked on three more runs in the seventh to turn the tables and escape with the win.

Letter to the Editor

Letter to the editor: Can anyone point to the date and time when we the people turned all of our personal responsibilities and moral standards over to the few that occupy the seats in our once great capital in St. Paul? Are we expected to just succumb to the standards, rules and regulations set by legislated laws and dictates? How did we get so disconnected from a government by the people for the people into becoming mere subjects of the government? Weren’t our elected Legislators and Senators supposed to “represent” the people and protect our “individual” God given Constitutional rights? I don’t recall giving my consent that allows our elected officials and unelected bureaucrats to take any of my rights away nor did I consent to allow them to give any “special” rights that I don’t possess and give them to another individual.
