Starry Night at RVHS Prom 2023

Redwood Valley High School hosted their 2023 Prom Saturday, April 26 with “Starry Night” as this year’s theme. Following the Grand March that took place in the Redwood Valley Gymnasium, 140 students bussed over to Inspire Wedding and Events in New Ulm for dinner, dancing, and hypnotism by Gary Tyson.

Striding into the future

In the coming weeks, high school seniors across the country will don caps and gowns and proudly walk across a stage to receive a diploma in the culmination of a 13-year goal that has taken the support of many people along the way in order to achieve it. Seniors, your family, in particular, has been with you every step of the way and I hope you thank them.

To the editor: As a volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association, I advocate for all people with dementia, but especially for my mom, Barb Bruns, who was diagnosed with Early On-Set Alzheimer at the age of 57. Thanks to our bipartisan champions in Congress, we’ve made great progress advancing research on Alzheimer’s and dementia, providing hope to families with this terrible disease.

7th Grade Cardinal of the Month

Why was Dominick Adams nominated for Cardinal of the Month? Dominick is an exceptional young man. You always see Dominick with a smile and he is never in a bad mood. Dominick routinely provides his best effort in everything that he does. He is 100% all day, every day respectful toward his peers and his teachers. Dominick isn’t afraid to be himself and he carries himself in a way that displays confidence. He is very worthy of being Cardinal of the Month.
