Redwood Area Chamber and Tourism has partnered with IMPACT to Influence founder, Ann Vote to offer a 3C Leadership Series, an educational three-part series for individuals, businesses and their employees, and non-profit volunteers and leaders. Sharpen your leadership communication skills to allow for business and people growth with your organization with this interactive workshop. Vote’s mission is to support leaders to build and nurture a culture where people feel valued, trusted and confident. Event themes include “Cultivate Your Culture with Clarity and Confidence”, “Consistent Actions Will Accelerate Growth in Your People and Business” and “Curate Solutions by Defining Your Challenges and Empowering Your People”.

Local Students attending Bethel University in St. Paul, have been named to the Dean’s List for academic excellence for the fall 2022 semester.

Redwood Falls City Council met Tuesday, March 21 and approved the quote from Door Men in the amount of $10,850 for the replacement of seven garage door openers at the fire hall. The 2023 Operating Budget includes $9,800 for the replacement.

Redwood County Board of Commissioners met Tuesday, March 21 and approved the Cooperative Construction Lighting Maintenance Agreement with the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation. The county will be installing light poles at the intersections of MN 67 and CSAH 24, MN 67 and CSAH 1, MN 68 and CSAH 1, and MN 68 and CSAH 6.

Be cool – give blood. Wabasso Legion and the American Red Cross will again be sponsoring a Blood Drive at the Wabasso Community Center on Wednesday, April 12, from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m. We will be handing out Red Cross/Peanuts T-shirts while supplies last.
