Redwood Area School District receives state grant to support Native students with disabilities

Redwood Area School District was awarded a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education to better support American Indian students with disabilities toward graduation as well as education and employment after high school. The grant is called the State Personnel Development Grant and schools compete for the grant by describing the need to improve graduation rates of Native students with disabilities along with an initial plan to respond to those needs with programs at school.

26th Annual Meeting and Chamber Dinner coming Saturday, Feb. 18

Redwood Area Chamber and Tourism is looking forward to their 26th Annual Meeting and Chamber Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 18. The event will be held in the Dacotah Exposition Center at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and welcomes 300+ people for this much-anticipated event which features a four-course gourmet meal, auction, games, and entertainment, as well as seven Visionary Awards.

School Board awards MS/HS Secure Entry project to Tri-State General Contracting, Inc.

The regular meeting of the Independent School District No. 2897 Board of Education was called to order on Monday, Jan. 23 by Board Clerk, Darin Prescott in the Redwood Area Schools Board Room. All members were present except for Derek Woodford and Andrew Lueck. Superintendent Becky Cselovszki and Finance Director Tom Anderson were also in attendance.
