It was late in the evening on Christmas Day when the fire alarm went off at River Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Redwood Falls, setting off a series of events that led to the transfer of 35 residents.

We heard from God's Word how God used them to bring good news to the people who were involved in the accounts of the incarnation of our Lord Jesus. We sang of their role in Christmas Carols, repeating their joyful message of God's favor upon us poor sinners. We saw them, or what we think they should look like, decorating our Christmas trees, often with one sitting at the very top of the tree.

The cost is $4 a meal for those ages 60 and over; $2 on Thursdays for Wabasso residents. Menus are subject to change.
