Redwood Valley High School performed a new musical, “The Addams Family School Edition” on Thursday, Nov. 10, 11 and 12. Anahi Nunez pictured (left to right) playing as the grandmother in the Addams Family Musical. “Lurch” was played by Jayden Haen. This was Haen’s first year in the school play. Senior Kaylee Robinson played Wednesday Addams. Gomez Addams, played by senior Kody Robinson pictured admiring the hand of Morticia Addams, played by Valerie Plaetz. Uncle Fester was played by sophomore Alexis Altmann and Puglsey Addams was played by sophomore Annabelle Eriksen.

November is just one of those months. It might as well be a season unto itself. It’s an in-between, now-and-not-yet sort of month. It’s not really autumn, but it’s not really winter. It can be either cold or warm. The harvest and garden is usually finished—but still lots left to do before the winter freeze. It’s not summer, and it’s not Christmas. The year is winding down, plants die, other plants and animals enter the beginning of their winter sleep. Even in our lives, it’s the suspenseful month after the school and church routine gets underway and before the holiday rush.

Wabasso High School Theatre presents “Elf the Musical” with performances on Nov. 18 and Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. and Nov. 20 at 1 p.m. at the Wabasso Public School. General admission tickets will be sold at the door 30 minutes prior to the show.
