Jaguars roll past Cougars

Outscoring Cedar Mountain 21-0 in the second half the RCW Jaguars topped the Cougars 43-18 Friday night in a nine-man battle held in Morgan. In a battle of Section 2 9-Man rivals it was the Jaguars that would pull away in the second half for the win to improve to a perfect 6-0 on the season.

A big thanks to Wabasso blood drive donors

American Red Cross had a blood drive at the Wabasso Community Center on Thursday, Oct. 6 with 50 presenting donors. With a goal of 71, 62 donations were made with three deferred. Thanks to all the wonderful donors. Thanks to the volunteers: Chris Rohlik, Elaine Guetter, Mary Frericks, John and Colleen Remiger, Mike Frank, Chuck Daub and Dave Remiger. A huge thanks to Bethany Lutheran Church for serving a delicious supper and thanks to Salfer's Foods and Ruprecht's Meat Market on the food donations.

Wabasso senior dining menu through Friday, Oct. 21

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wabasso Senior Dining is only offering home delivery of meals, until further notice. Home delivery is available to those residing in Wabasso, Wanda, Lucan, Seaforth, Vesta, Delhi, Lamberton, Redwood Falls, Clements, Morton, Fairfax, Franklin, Gibbon, and Winthrop. To order a meal, or for more information, call Diane at 507-8292385. You are asked to call one day prior by noon to order a meal. The cost is $4 a meal for those ages 60 and over; $2 on Thursdays for Wabasso residents. Menus are subject to change.

My Daughter
